Tube
You can take a folded bike anywhere and anytime.

Bus
Folded bikes are accepted at the driver's discretion. The rules are the same for pushchairs and larger items of shopping and luggage.
Docklands Light Railway
Bikes will be carried as long as they are folded.
London Overground
Folded bikes accepted anytime, anywhere on the network.
Non-folding bikes accepted on the following network sections:
Richmond-Willesden Junction
Clapham Junction-Willesden Junction
Gospel Oak-Stratford
Blackhorse Road-Barking
You may take your bike on all trains but we recommend that you do not travel with a non-folding cycle during peak times Monday-Friday as trains can be very busy.
To/from London Euston
You can take a non-folding bike on all trains except those:
- Arriving at Euston between 07:00-10:00 on weekdays
- Departing from Euston between 16:00-19:00 on weekdays
Willesden Junction-Gospel Oak
Gospel Oak-Blackhorse Road
You can take a non-folding bike on all trains except those travelling between 08:00-10:00 and 16:30-18:30 Monday-Friday.
Highbury and Islington to West Croydon
Folding bicycles can be carried free of charge on any London Overground services at any time.
- Non-folding bicycles may not be carried on any London Overground services between 07:00 and 10:00 and between 16:00 and 19:00 Monday to Friday
- Non-folding bicycles may be carried free of charge at all other times
Rail replacement bus services for London Overground
You can only take a folded bicycle on rail replacement buses, not a non-folding bicycle.
River
All bikes accepted on any London boat service at any time.
Coaches
Please ask the company you are booked with about travelling with a bike.
Tram
Tramlink only takes folding bicycles - no container is required.
National Rail
