Transport for LondonMotorcycle safety
We are committed to improving the safety of motorcyclists and have formed a partnership with the Metropolitan Police Service to offer a London-wide motorcycle and scooter safety programme.
The Motorcycle Tasking Team runs both BikeSafe-London and ScooterSafe-London Rider Skills Days. It also runs operations to enforce motorcycle legislation such as motorcycles in bus lanes.

BikeSafe-London: For riders with bikes 125cc or above |

ScooterSafe-London: For riders with bikes under 125cc |
Both Rider Skills Days cost £45.
Professional police motorcyclists will offer assessment on:
- Motorcycle control
- Hazard awareness
- Vanishing points
- Other factors that can cause a collision
